About me
Ben Dabiri is a Iranian-American jazz pianist, producer, composer, and arranger celebrated for his distinctive fusion of traditional and modern jazz styles. Born in Tehran, Iran, Ben began his musical journey with classical piano training before relocating to the United States at age 9. It was in high school that he discovered his deep passion for jazz, setting him on a path to a flourishing career.
An alum of the Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA, Ben got to fine tune in his craft studying with jazz maestros such as Terence Blanchard, Arturo O'Farrill, Tamir Hendelman, and now is a vibrant presence in the Los Angeles jazz and beatmaking scene. His stylings can be heard on various records, whether on keyboard or as a producer for artists spanning many different genres such as Marinero, Sage, and headbed. His latest project, birthed from the connection with his talented classmates and close friends which include Alonso Santana, Artie Fitch, Devin Daniels, Joshua Christian Childress is a celebration of unity, exploration, and the beautiful intersections of All of their individual musical journeys.
